good evening! so tonight i’m heading over to santa monica for a little gathering to celebrate the stateside arrival of swedish pop sensation agnes (join her on myspace) who’s getting ready to bust a move here in america … back in 2005 she was crowned the second winner of swedish idol – since then she’s released three albums – not bad for a girl who’s only 21! she was recently signed to geffen records – hopefully she’ll enjoy the same success here! you might recognize her song release me which turned out to be a huge hit at the clubs – the single was just re-released on itunes last week – making her the only swedish idol to be launched in the US! i’m excited to see her sing live in a really small, intimate setting – i’ll let you guys know how it goes! right now i’m going to leave you with david duchovny who’s returning to showtime next month for the 3rd season of californication (kicking off sept. 27th) i’m not sure if having ‘hank moody’ teach at an all-girls school is the best idea … i bet that’s going to push temptations to the max and i’m sure craziness and drama will ensue (along with some hilarity) check out a new interview with david below (he’s SO damn adorable) and for a sneak peek of the upcoming season – head to showtime’s website! popbytes over & out for tonight … xoxo
