So now that the custody battle between Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry is over and everyone realizes that they’re both generally pretty awful people, Halle made a comment at the NAACP Image Awards saying that her daughter, Nahla, probably won’t like everything she’s done.
“I’m sure she won’t like everything I’ve done but I hope she appreciates it,” the actress, 44, said at the NAACP Image Awards on Friday. “I hope she will appreciate that I dared to be myself and always did what I believed in. I hope to pass those qualities on to her.” Berry, who took home the outstanding actress in a motion picture prize for her role in Frankie & Alice, said she hopes her work “inspires” Nahla. “I hope she’s proud of me.” SOURCE
No, really? She might not like the fact that you called her father a racist and claimed that she was entirely black based on a belief system from a racist era? Or the fact that you two couldn’t play nice in public for all of two goddamn seconds for her benefit? And just wait until she sees Catwoman. Oh boy, she’s going to be pissed as hell when she sees that shit.
