Gwyneth Paltrow suggests spending $18K on spring wear!

Gwyneth Paltrow

Ever the bastion of haute-couture on a dime (give or take a second mortgage), Gwyneth Paltrow released a new edition of GOOP where she advised ladies on how to update their wardrobe for the warm weather! And it’s a total steal! You know, as long as you move the decimal over a couple places to the right …

But dressing like the actress, author and lifestyle guru is going to cost you: $18,301 to be exact. Paltrow, who is known for her super chic style, teamed up with luxury online retailer Net-a-Porter to put together six outfit concepts revolving around key wardrobe “basics” including a $785 Stella McCartney jersey tank dress, a $1840 Chloe silk jacket, and a $90 Kain T-shirt. The least expensive item is a Splendid cotton tank for $44. The svelte star, who poses in each look (including a bikini), calls her sartorial picks “great pieces which are versatile enough to wear to the office and during your summer leisure time.” SOURCE

The office? HAHAHA no. If you can afford to drop $18,000 on clothes you’ll only wear for one season, chances are you don’t work in an office. Although I’m sure whatever $2,000 swimsuit Gwyneth picked out will look lovely as you swan dive into your Scrooge McDuck money pit. “Ha ha! Sure, diving face first hurts like a bitch, but at least I’m rich enough to afford the care I need!”
