ginger spice wants to go posh

good evening! i’ve put myself on a news & email embargo until i watch the american idol finale tonight – i hate having it spoiled – so even though i can probably find out who won – i’m so not looking! (although i went all blake last night – after everything i heard today it looks like jordin will win – i can’t wait for the show to start!)

i’ve been loving some of the recent UK tabloid glossy magazines i’ve been posting on – many thanks to popbytes pal alex for sending along some fun covers! they’re always great jumping off points for tossing some of my thoughts out there – and people seem to enjoy them! this week’s closer features geri haliwell‘s (aka ginger spice) ‘drastic plan’ to look like victoria beckham (aka posh spice) i love these kinda stories where one gal is after another (a la single white female) like when ashlee simpson was after jessica simpson‘s look! if geri does have some evil master plan i’d imagine that step one would be to secure a los angeles home so she can keep a close eye on victoria (second step would be trying to bang david beckham…that would be my first step!)

you gotta love the top right corner – that lady gave birth thirteen times and is still a size zero?!? what the hell did she give birth to? tadpoles?!? plus who really has 13 kids these days – that’s a full house! over to the left there’s some young girl addicted to tanning (her mum pays for her to go daily) although looking at the pic – she doesn’t look very tan but maybe she is by english standards?

then there’s updates on charlotte church and her boy gavin (he was the guy sporting wood on last week’s cover) and melanie brown (aka scary spice) who is moving on with a new guy…did that DNA test ever happen to find out if her baby’s daddy is eddie murphy?!? i lost track of what was going on with that! popbytes over & out for now and of course i’ll be back with a full idol finale post – xxoo!
