Pop-superstarlet Florence Welch is cranking the gears to her machine again, going back into the recording studio to complete work on her sophomore album after hitting it big with her debut Lungs. Machine guitarist Rob Ackroyd spilled precious details to Gibson, claiming the group will attempt to use legendary Abbey Road Studios to record the completely written new album. This time around the sound will be a mix of Drake, Arcade Fire, and Lady Gaga according to Ackroyd (if you actually believe him). The record is set to drop sometime towards the end of this year. This is the best music news since The Beatles released Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, literally Florence and company could do an album of moaning and xylophone harmonies and I’d still sing their praises.
