The fashion event of the week that had every fashionista’s (digital) tongue wagging was without a doubt the cross-Atlantic 4D spectacle that Ralph Lauren put on at the new Madison Avenue store in New York and the Bond Street flagship in London on Wednesday evening. If you haven’t already seen it, it is definitely worth checking out the ten minute extra-sensory show featuring lights, smells and sounds that delivered above and beyond what the brand has previously offered its audience.
On a slightly less modernistic, but equally appealing front, Marc Jacobs posing as “Mrs. Jacobs” for the cover of Industrie magazine. This has to be the hottest tranny mess we have ever seen, even if it is styled by LOVE magazine’s Katie Grand and shot by Patrick Demarchelier.
To leave you with that Friday feeling, Out magazine just released their list of 100 LGBT people of the year featuring Ricky Martin, Julianne Moore, Chris Colfer, Michael Stipe, Scissor Sisters and more – all looking ultra-stylish. The magazine features recreations of three iconic gay moments in history — Truman Capote‘s Black and White Ball shot by Larry Fink, the Stonewall riots shot by Roger Erickson, and Studio 54 shot by Jason Schmidt. Check out the images and a behind the scenes video.
