Everyone at Paris Fashion Week hates Kim and Kanye

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West

Yesterday, when Kim Kardashian got tackled in Paris, I talked about how bad I felt that a small, asshole part of me kind of took it as karma. As it turns out, there are plenty of people at Paris Fashion Week who generally aren’t too high on Kim or Kanye West either. In fact, I’d go so far as to say that Kimye aren’t quite as popular as they think they are, because not only did they get booed to hell for showing up late to a Lanvin show, but everyone keeps talking sh!t about them to Page Six

Kim and Kanye were unceremoniously booed as they entered a Lanvin show 40 minutes late. “The runway photographers were all just booing them as they walked in,” a witness said. “They were waiting for them for the show [to start], which was 40 minutes late. Kanye immediately walked over and was gesturing for them to cut it out.” Wearing a tuxedo jacket with no shirt showing un peu trop décolleté, the Bride of Kanyestein wore a skirt that was so short, “she had to sit in the front row covering her hoo-ha,” a spy sniffed. She and West sat with Catherine Deneuve, Lanvin designer Alber Elbaz’s boyfriend Alex Koo and Lanvin men’s designer Lucas Ossendrijver. Kimye also drew flak for bringing baby North, 1, to a Balenciaga show on Tuesday, where techno blared. “I’m not sure what the acceptable decibel level is for babies, but everyone felt it was crazy loud — the bleachers were vibrating,” a spy said.

Can you hear that? People are practically SNIFFING at Kimye! SNIFFING! I think a big part of it — other than the fact that it is horribly rude to show up fashionably late to a fashion show, ironically — is the fact that Kim and Kanye have kinda burned through their fashion credibility. Kim has a magic ability to make any garment that touches her skin look cheap, and Kanye West … Well, he’s married to Kim now. I guess Kim’s magical trashy power extends to human beings.
