For a while now, Emma Roberts was mostly known as the cute, relatively low-key niece of Julia Roberts from Scream 4. She didn’t ever really do anything super exciting, but she seemed to be doing all right for herself and was building herself up a respectable film career. And then the other night, she got arrested for domestic violence after she and her boyfriend, American Horror Story star Evan Peters, reportedly got into a physical fight in their hotel room in Montreal. According to Montreal law enforcement sources … someone called police to report a fight in Evan and Emma’s hotel room. We’re told when cops arrived … they observed Evan with a bloody nose. Emma was immediately arrested. One law enforcement source tells us Evan also had a bite mark. Emma was released hours later because 26-year-old Evan did not want to press charges.
It’s pretty obvious that all of the blame can be distributed pretty evenly between the two of them, so neither one can really claim the moral high-ground here. The only reasonable thing either of them can do at this point is just break up, because who are we kidding? If your relationship is so volatile that you get into a physical fight, it’s doomed. Break up and never date anyone again until you’re mature enough to control yourselves.
