About a week ago I was very fortunate to attend the opening night of the award-winning play
War Horse, at downtown Los Angeles’ Ahmanson Theatre. Ever since it garnered a bunch of awards for its Broadway run (including a Tony for Best Play), I had been dying to see it, all I heard was amazing things about the ground-breaking production! Thankfully the play not only lived up to my high expectations, it actually exceeded them! The horses completely blew me away, they were so realistic (operated by a team of extremely talented puppeteers), plus the story was riveting and completely epic, I hadn’t quite seen anything like War Horse on stage ever before. The show is playing now through July 29th, do not miss the chance to experience a truly magical night out at the theatre!
