Hey hey! I’ve been meaning to post about this band that has swept me off my feet, I finally got a chance to write something up! A few months ago I discovered Delta Rae and quickly became a huge fan. I had the chance to see the band (which hails from North Carolina) play live at the Troubadour in Los Angeles, they put an incredible show. Ever since then I have totally fallen in love with their superbly produced and heartfelt debut album Carry The Fire, it is easily going land a spot in my top favorite albums of 2012, it’s seriously that good! Please make sure to watch their brand-new music video for “Morning Comes,” one of the best tracks, plus there’s a bonus video of them playing the song in just one take. The band’s music cuts straight to the heart, something about their down home style really touches me, plus the music reminds me a drop of Indigo Girls and Dolly Parton, music to nourish your soul, something we can all use probably more than we would like to admit.
