It’s pretty rare for me to write about male artists here on PopBytes, by now you guys know I’m all about the ladies when it comes to music, but Aussie musician Darren Hayes is one of the few exceptions! I’ve been a fan of Darren since his days with Savage Garden, and his solo work is completely fantastic, plus he’s still adorable (and melancholy) as ever! Below is the new music video for Black Out The Sun, the second single (the first was Talk Talk Talk) from his upcoming album Secret Codes and Battleships (his fourth solo effort) due out on October 17th! Darren’s last album, This Delicate Thing We’ve Made, made my top ten favorite albums of ’07 list, for sure check out that double-disc release, it’s fantastic!
