daft punk – human after all

hey kids – its tuesday – and i thought why not let you in on an upcoming music release that i thought was worth the mention here on popbytes…electronica duo daft punk have confirmed details of their third studio album human after all. the album, their first new studio record in four years (!?) will be released on march 21 (i believe in the UK first!) and is the follow-up to 2001’s discovery (which had that huge smash single (and yes a drop overplayed) – one more time – you so know the one ‘music got me feelin so free i wanna celebrate…’).

the very elusive and mysterious duo thomas bangalter and guy manuel de homem christo say they recorded the ten tracks of the new album in six weeks between september and november this year in their home studio in paris.

popbytes has had an early listen of the complete album – and although it is kind of a odd and eclectic electronica album – with bleeps and whirs abounding – it was highly enjoyable and kinda got me moving! and i love the subtle additions of voices along with all the sounds buzzing around your head – and plus with songs like television rules the nation who can go wrong!

i dug up a small quicktime promo for the album that i found – and thought was pretty fun – so please check that out as well by clicking here (its a small file so no worries – download away!) check you all latersss…oh yeah more info here on daft punk – humanafterall.free.fr
