Crazy in the Deep: Adele vs. Gnarls Barkley

Mashup Of The Week

FROM DJ PAUL V.
What is it about plus-sized women, having voices that soar so loudly and touch us so powerfully? If I could have a super group of these amazing singers in my living room, it would include Alison Moyet, Beth Ditto, and of course – Adele. To hear this 22-year old sing, and feel the depth of maturity and ache in her voice, is what it feels like to hurt so good. Her Rolling In The Deep unto itself is one of the best singles of 2011, but here it takes on a new level of warmth and brilliance with another smash, Gnarls Barkley‘s Crazy. Kudos to Divide And Kreate for crafting this soul-stirring gem.
