It’s sad but true … Courteney Cox and David Arquette are splitting up after eleven years of wedded bliss (The couple share a six-year-old daughter, Coco Arquette) I guess Ms. Cox can now officially move to ‘Cougar Town’ – maybe her single and most eligible bachelorette BFF Jennifer Aniston is looking for a housemate over there? All kidding aside, I did think these two made a great couple, I’m bummed they couldn’t go the distance, their joint statement is posted below! Keep in mind it’s only a trial separation, so there’s still a chance their marriage could actually be saved but I’m not going to bet on it just yet! We have agreed to a trial separation that dates back for some time. The reason for this separation is to better understand ourselves and the qualities we need in a partner and for our marriage. We remain best friends and responsible parents to our daughter and we still love each other deeply. As we go though this process we are determined to use kindness and understanding to get through this together. We are comfortable with the boundaries that we have established for each other during this separation and we hope that our friends, family, fans and the media also show us respect, dignity, understanding and love at this time as well.
