After his stint at The Tonight Show was cut short by Jay Leno violating the “No take-backsies!” rule, Conan O’Brien ended up taking the high road. Which for a comedian? SUPER HARD. But he did it because he’s a gentleman like that. Anyway, with Jay now “retired” in the same way Michael Jordan retired, Conan decided to get in one last joke at Leno. Via Us Weekly

“The Olympics start airing tonight on NBC. It’s very cool. That’s right, NBC has the Olympics,” O’Brien said. “It’s a big deal. NBC will finally get to show somebody who is OK with passing the torch.” After the audience cheered for the Leno joke, O’Brien gave a big thumbs up to the camera and started laughing. “I allowed myself one,” he explained. “But it was a good one.”

He earned that one. He really did. Although if it’s any consolation to Conan, Jay did get serenaded by Kim Kardashian, so now he’s privy to a level of Hell of which most mortals wouldn’t dare inquire. You dodged a bullet on that one, Coco.
