Normally, I love Twitter fights, mostly because it’s like seeing two people at their basest level trying to rip each other’s throats out using misspelled words. Except yesterday when Chris Brown got into a feud with Raz B from B2K (… Who?) and the whole thing went full homophobe in the space of about two seconds.
Brown got into it with singer Raz B — after Raz tweeted Brown, “Im just sittin here Thinking how can n**gas like [Eric Benet] and [Chris Brown] disrespect women as Intelligent as Halle Berry, Rihanna.”
Brown immediately lashed back — writing, “n**ga you want attention! Grow up n**ga!!! Dick in da booty ass lil boy.” SOURCE
Aaaaand long story short, because of Chris Brown, the tag #HomoThug made it to the top of the trending topics, everyone threw around the words “gay” and “fag” like mints and I lost the tiny little sliver of faith in humanity that I had left. Good to know homophobia is alive and kicking thanks to moral relativism! Woo!
