Good news everyone! While you guys were spending your Labor Day weekend honoring St. Isidore, the patron saint of laborers, by pinching anyone on the shoulder who was wearing white and drinking (I may be confusing this with St. Patrick’s Day …), The Hollywood Reporter announced that Cheyenne Jackson got married to his longtime boyfriend Monte Lapka!
Actor Cheyenne Jackson married partner Monte Lapka, a physicist, on Saturday. “It’s official, after 11 years together, Zora’s no longer a bastard,” Jackson tweeted, referring to the couple’s dog. “Married the best man I’ve ever known.” The actor, who stars as the coach of rival singing group Vocal Adrenaline on Glee and is a frequent guest star on 30 Rock, is openly gay and a longtime supporter of LGBT rights groups. Both grooms wore white for the ceremony, which occurred on the beach in the Hamptons.
One thing I find absolutely hilarious though: We gay guys have this tendency to date people who look like us, and HOLY SHIT they totally look alike. They even have the same haircut and the exact same five-head! Super cute, right? Anyway, best wishes to them and all the happiness in the world.
