chenoweth to channel kahn!!!

ah finally some good casting possibilities coming down the pop pike…the amazing mr. mel brooks is working on a broadway adaptation of his 1974 comedy screwball classic young frankenstein – of course to hopefully have much success like his great white way version of the producers but the most exciting part is broadway darling & all-around funny lady kristin chenoweth said told reporters yesterday at a press event for her upcoming film R.V.I promised to do ‘Young Frankenstein’ when Mel finishes with that… this means she will have some major shoes to fill – playing the part of ‘elizabeth’ our dearly departed madeline kahn first made famous in the movie – i think ms. chenoweth is so up to the task and i think ms. kahn would be very pleased – all this got me to thinking about madeline – what a wonderful & funny actress she was – that was taken way from us way before her time – i so know kristin will do her proud – this sounds like such an awesome project and i can’t wait to see it bloom – special thanks to my pal rick for sending this awesome bit of 411 over to me…popbytes over & out for now…xxoo!
