After video of Chelsea Handler‘s rant on Angelina Jolie hit the web yesterday, Chelsea decided to go on her show and defend herself by saying that she’s been making fun of her for years and that it has nothing to do with her new friend, Jennifer Aniston, the woman whose husband that bitch stole.
On her show, Chelsea Lately, Monday night, Handler addressed the tirade, brushing it off as more of the same. “I’ve been making fun of Angelina Jolie since she made out with her brother,” Handler laughed, joking with a panel of writers. Having done the same stand-up act for the last five years, she said, “If I’ve learned nothing from this, it’s to write some new jokes.” SOURCE
Actually, that one is true: Having read all of her books (they’re actually pretty good), the Angelina Jolie rant you see in the video is actually lifted almost verbatim from her second book. Her book that came out over two years ago. Seriously sweetie, if you’re telling the same joke for two years, it might be time to step it up a tad.
