Here in Los Angeles, Total Rewards enlisted the help of Cee Lo Green and Lil’ Wayne (along with host Cat Deeley), while we celebrated at the Hollywood and Highland courtyard, three other concerts were taking place at the exact same time including New York (with P. Diddy and Mariah Carey), Chicago (with Maroon 5 and Sara Bareilles), and New Orleans (with Mary J. Blige and Gavin DeGraw). Overall it was a fantastic evening, I was able to enjoy the festivities from the swanky VIP balcony area which included delicious drinks and tasty appetizers courtesy of Wolfgang Puck (my favorite being pieces of watermelon topped with feta cheese), no expense was spared. Plus I got to hang out with friends, including my blogger buddies from ICYDK, Allie Is Wired and Busy Bee Blogger along with my Twitter pals @ShaneBitney, @EssOhVee, @SmrtMnky, and @VoodooHipster. A truly great night was had by all in attendance!
There was also a number of celebrities in attendance including Lance Bass (looking adorable), Kourtney Kardashian (preggers!), Pia Toscano (from American Idol), Ashlee Simpson, and Jimmy Kimmel!
To be honest, I was never a huge fan of Lil’ Wayne but I must say I thought he did an excellent job up on stage and totally had the massive crowd worked up into a frenzy, helping to set the stage for Cee Lo Green who was simply fantastic, all decked out in a hot pink tracksuit I might add! Cee Lo also announced his new brand residency at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino, he’ll be playing 28 shows during the year called Cee Lo Green presents Loberace, premiering this coming August! I think Cee Lo is the perfect choice for a new show in Las Vegas, I’m going to have to make my way over there to see it for myself, thankfully Vegas isn’t very far from Los Angeles!
