Remember Sam Lutfi? He was Britney Spears‘ former manager, and he pretty much single-handedly nearly ran her ass straight into the fucking ground. Well, the guy isn’t too keen on the fact that Britney’s parents have been bashing him, so he’s suing Britney’s mother, Lynne Spears, for defamation and ordering Britney to take to the stand for the trial. And in a display of parenting that can really only come from the woman who sold two of her daughters into showbiz with pretty damaging effect, she’s claiming that Brit isn’t mentally competent enough to take to the stand, which is more or less a nice way of calling someone stupid and/or crazy!
Lutfi wants his one-time client to testify in the court case, but according to Billboard, her parents are claiming that she is “mentally incapable” of doing so. Lutfi, who is under the command of a restraining order to stay away from Spears, says that claim is bogus. He had an expert witness analyze a Spears interview with Ryan Seacrest and an MTV documentary, with the witness submitting to the court that, from what he can tell, Spears is more than capable of testifying to the court. Hate to say it, but either way this isn’t going to end well for Brit. Either her mother is right and her sucky parenting skills effectively turned her fully-grown daughter into a toddler, or Sam is right and she gets to testify about the darkest period of her life. I’m not one for the death penalty, but if the judge sentenced both of them to death by being kicked in the crotch by a horse, I wouldn’t bat an eye. “What’s that? Blunt force trauma to the genitals until they both bleed internally to death? Sure, why not. Also, can the horses wear soccer cleats?”
