You might not know the name Bonnie McKee, but you definitely know some of the songs she’s co-written! Bonnie is the award-winning songwriter behind mega hits such as Britney Spears‘ “Hold It Against Me,” Katy Perry‘s “Teenage Dream” and “Wide Awake,” and Taio Cruz‘s “Dynamite” to name a few! Now Bonnie is breaking out on her own with a track called “American Girl” (available on iTunes on 7/23) which I absolutely fell in love with after seeing the music video that literally features a ton of celebrity cameos including Joan Rivers! Although this video came out last month, I just came across it yesterday and now I cannot wait to hear more from Ms. McKee, she’s totally bound for pop stardom.
