I’ve been hard on Beyoncé these last few months. I don’t know why but I was suffering from Beyoncé exhaustion. Even after a year hiatus, I just wasn’t ready to get back into the Beyhive. Then, the GQ spread happened and I was ready to welcome her back into my life. Then, the Super Bowl happened and I repented for every ill word I ever uttered against her.
So, as the Beyoncé promotional train continues to careen into 2013, we are blessed with another magazine cover, Vogue‘s March 2013 issue. What is there to say about Beyoncé that hasn’t already been said? Obviously, she looks stunning on the cover and in the spread.
First of all, I love a lady in a beehive and she is rocking one throughout the spread. I’m also in love with the shot of her effortlessly laying in a chaise lounge in an Oscar de la Renta gown that could pay my rent for half a year.
I’m not even going to acknowledge the interview inside because whenever Beyoncé speaks, I’m embarrassed for her. Let’s just appreciate this for what it is.
My only problem with this promo push is the lack of something to actually promote. Is she planning on announcing new music soon or will The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour just feature songs from 4? I still have so many questions, Bey!
