good morning everybody! in the words of our dear french canadian friend celine dion – a new day has come! today president-elect barack obama will be sworn in as the 44th president of the united states – making history as our first african-american president – the day after martin luther king jr.‘s birthday! right now i’ve got the television tuned to all the excitement and energy taking place in our nation’s chilly capitol washington, DC – i’d love to be there but i don’t think i could deal with the cold weather – it looks freezing there! i wish i could stay home today and watch all the festivities and ceremonies go down but unfortunately i have to go to work but i’ll be keeping my eye on everything via the online coverage over on cnn.com – i’m totally filled with hope at the moment – obviously president obama won’t be able to magically turn the country around overnight but i do feel we’re finally heading in the right (or should i say left?) direction! popbytes over & out for now…xoxo
