Amy Winehouse got hacked!

Amy Winehouse - Hacked Website

All right, who wants to follow this train of logic off a cliff: Amy Winehouse‘s website got hacked yesterday by a group called Swagsec, which is sort of like an offbrand-offbrand-knockoff of Anonymous in that while they hack, they don’t actually have any sort of moral or message behind them like Anon does. Anyway, apparently they hacked Amy’s website so that they could take back the Internet from “the white devil”. Ummmm … I’m not sure that’s how the Internet works, but okay.

The hacker group behind the e-vandalism — who call themselves SwagSec — took to Twitter this morning to gloat, posting a link to Amy’s website … showcasing their online dirty work. SwagSec — which took over Amy’s website with a bizarre expletive-filled hacker-speak rant — claims the goal is to “take back the Internet from the white devil” … adding, “DEATH 2 THE WHITE DEVIL.” SOURCE

Look, here’s the thing: When Anonymous hacks websites, it’s because they’re trying to fight for free speech (see, for example, their support of the Iranian Green Party and Wikileaks.) As opposed to these guys, who apparently think there is only a finite amount of Internet and therefore must be stolen back from the White Devils. I’ll give you a minute to try and work that around in your head until it stops being fucking stupid.
