… sorta! Turns out, The Dish Network decided to drop AMC, IFC and WE, so instead of getting RuPaul to call them out, AMC will stream the fifth season premiere of award-winning show Breaking Bad (set to air July 15th) online for free, as long as you were a Dish subscriber. Via Deadline:
“Every cable, phone and satellite company other than Dish carries AMC,” the company says. “AMC wants its loyal Dish viewers to experience the excitement of the Breaking Bad premiere at the same time as their friends and neighbors, and we want to give Dish customers an extra week to switch providers so they can enjoy the rest of the season.” Dish customers who want to watch the showing can register at www.amctv.com/breakingbad4dish beginning tomorrow at 3 PM ET.
Mind you, I’m pretty sure that you can only sign up for it if you were on Dish Network and were thus screwed out of the sheer brilliance of a show about crystal meth. Seriously, how is a show about crystal meth this good? It’s almost … addictive. Man, I wish there was some sort of simile to describe how addicting a show about crystal meth is. I can’t think of one though. Hmmm …
