A couple days ago, Jennifer Love Hewitt went on Ellen DeGeneres‘ talk show to proclaim publicly in front of millions of people that she thought Adam Levine and her would make a cute couple. When he didn’t immediately fly in to pick which of the three engagement rings she carries around to propose to her, she moved onto to one of the dancers from Dancing With The Stars, which kind of shows you how serious she is about these relationships. Anyway, since the gauntlet has been laid down for him, Adam had to go on the record and say that he was ‘flattered’ by JLoHew (… security …) Access Hollywood reports:
Access Hollywood caught up with The Voice coach after Tuesday’s show, where he chimed in Jennifer Love Hewitt’s recent suggestion that they would make a good couple. “It’s very, very flattering,” Adam, who recently split with Anne V, told AccessHollywood’s Laura Saltman. “It’s very flattering and very sweet and it was lovely to hear.” Adding with a smile, “But I’m not going to let it get to my head.”
Remember when you were really little — think kindergarten here — and the really annoying, clingy girl would just wrap herself around you and not let go, and all of the grown-ups thought this was just so adorable? Well, here’s the thing: it was really only cute back then. Adam’s response just kind of reeks of humoring JLoHew here, which really isn’t doing her any favors since it’s just encouraging whatever developmentally-stunted wooing strategy she has going on here.
