Yes, okay? I know they’re out there, new pictures of the injuries of Chris Brown gave Rihanna are floating around the web, and they’re … bad. Maybe even worse than the one that released initially. But I’m not going to post it on PopBytes, and I’m not going to link to somewhere you can see it.
Here’s the deal: I think Chris is quite possibly one of the worst kinds of people you will ever meet. I don’t think he deserves to ever have a career again, and I think the people who not only stand by him, but try to justify his actions, are beyond stupid, and beyond misguided.
BUT, and here’s the big but, those pictures aren’t just a reminder of what Chris is really, truly capable of. They’re also a reminder of the worst time in Rihanna’s life. Being on the receiving end of domestic abuse is one of the worst things you can ever have to deal with, and God knows you don’t need daily, photographic reminders of that being posted on every blog out there. So fuck Chris. Fuck him and fuck whoever the hell is trying to drag his career out of hell where it clearly belongs, but I’m not going to post another reminder about the worst day of someone’s life.
