A trip down ‘Memory Lane’ with Liz Taylor

Elizabeth Taylor

I’m still thinking about Dame Elizabeth Taylor who sadly passed away last week at the age of 79. Hollywood simply doesn’t make movie stars anymore quite like Ms. Taylor. She was such a ravishing beauty, and led such an over the top glamorous life, plus worked tirelessly for the important causes she believed in! I also love the fact that she wanted to be late for her own funeral, her burial this past Thursday (at Forest Lawn Memorial Park where her pal Michael Jackson was also laid to rest in July of 2009) started fifteen minutes past schedule in order to honor Liz’s final wishes. Ms. Taylor will definitely be missed but I know her incredible strength, resilience and spirit will live on for ages to come.

Check out some images of Liz over the years below, many of them I hadn’t seen before, be sure to head over to MemoryLane.com for tons of amazing and rare vintage images, a great resource!
