good evening! it’s friday night (aka ladies night) and the relax is in full swing with a little bit of wine (and amy winehouse) i was at albertsons (on hillhurst) early tonight (which is a grocery store chain here in los angeles) and i ran into funny (and cute) guy dax shephard who had the most adorable brussels griffon dog waiting for him with a lady friend outside (i have my affenpinscher parker who is closely related to the brussels) we talked briefly about the doggie (he’s dogsitting) but i knew there was something very familiar about him and sure enough when i got home i looked up his picture and it was for sure him!
anyways i was ecstatic today when i heard that my beloved twin peaks season #2 will finally be released on six DVD set on april 3rd! creator david lynch is the master of all things surreal & bizarre (just wait until the brilliant inland empire lands on DVD) the series was one of my all-time favorites (there’s a ton of info on the always informative wikipedia – one entry on the show and another on all twenty-nine episodes) i’ll admit that the series became quite weak by the end of its final 29th episode but parts of it were sheer brilliance and there will always be a special place in my heart for the dearly departed laura palmer (played to perfection by sheryl lee) if you haven’t seen the entire series now is the time to buckle down – you won’t be disappointed! popbytes over & out for tonight – xxoo!
