good morning! it’s mashup time – and DJ paul v. found us a great track that takes both ‘queens of mess’ britney spears & amy winehouse and mashes ‘em together – the end result is the super fun toxic rehab! i do hope both ladies can somehow manage to pull themselves together – both are total messes – yet of course i still adore them both – especially ms. winehouse! i’m still listening to amy’s back to black a whole lot – it’s such an incredible album! so please go on and enjoy the mashup – popbytes over & out for now…xxoo!

This week, we feature two very talented ladies – both with promising careers that could easily be annihilated by personal woes and that devil called drug abuse. Both are treading in toxic waters if they don’t clean up and get their lives back on track. Britney Spears might not be a world-class singer (or lip syncher, for that matter), but there’s no denying her star power. Amy Winehouse just might be one of the finest singers to hit the pop scene in the last 25 years, but she’s married to an enabler and she doesn’t believe in her own talent. NYC DJ Reed McGowan (aka Empulsive) shakes ‘em up by mashing their music – and its title says it all.
