oh man this is such a shame – i am totally bummed over this news! tina fey & rachel dratch are both leaving saturday night live! (seth meyers will take over as head writer) tina & rachel have both been hilarious and really kept us on our late night saturday toes – the two will be leaving to work on the new NBC sitcom called 30 rock (tina is writing & starring, and rachel will be on the show) i wish them both the best of luck and hopefully their new show will be funny…popbytes over & out for now – xxoo!
i’m out of the fake news business now, i am going to focus just on the new show right now. i’ve been at saturday night live for nine years total. i know i’ll never ever not be there in some way. i’m never not going to call up with an opinion or show up on hiatus wanting to write a sketch. but i will not be in the cast next year. i won’t be a paid employee of saturday night live next year. – tina fey
