| hey kids – wanted to point out something worth catching the brooke ellison story – a true inspiring story – and the last directorial work from the late great christoper reeve – this story also has a bit of popbytes personal connection – i attended the school (in stony brook long island) where brooke was tragically struck by a car & paralyzed on her first day of 7th grade – and i was actually good friends with her dear sister kysten (who i hope to see at my 10 yr high school renuion coming up) – the ellisons sure have faced hardship – and drama – but brooke’s story is highly inspiring and uplifting – turning tragedy into a full life – brooke is planning on getting her doctorate (she recently graduated top of class from harvard) – and god bless her mom jean who has surely stuck with her daughter through thick and thin – the movie premieres tonight on A&E so be sure to catch it! |
