That girl Miguel landed on might have brain damage

About a week ago at the Billboard Music Awards, Miguel decided to spice up his performance by trying to jump across the stage, only to accidentally land on a girl’s head. Well, it turns out Miguel’s stunt may or may not have left the girl with some brain damage, according to her lawyer quoted over at TMZ

Vip Bhola, Shah’s lawyer, says, “Some of the difficulties she’s experiencing are cognitive in nature and lead to suspicion of a neurological head injury.” Bhola says BMA responded to the accident with a pathetic gesture — an ice pack designed to soothe a bruised elbow. The attorney insists his client should have been rushed to the hospital. Bhola tells us his client is waiting for test results from a neurologist. When the results are in — sometime next week — Khyati will decide if a lawsuit is in the cards.

Which really kind of begs the question: Who the hell thought jumping across a pit full of fans was a good idea? (Turns out it was all Miguel’s idea.) You might as well have tattooed the word “SUE ME!” on your face before kicking someone right in the forehead. You have an entire stage to work with, just stay on it and don’t tempt fate by playing Evel Knievel with someone’s skull.
