Canadian pop duo Tegan and Sara (comprised of openly gay identical twin sisters) are gearing up for the release of their seventh studio album, Heartthrob (out January 29th, pre-order now). They girls just dropped another single called “I Was A Fool,” which you must listen to below, a fantastic and lush pop ballad that I’ve been playing on repeat. Between this track and the album’s first single, “Closer,” they’re in the running to land a spot on my favorite albums of 2013 list. Tegan and Sara have been consistently releasing great pop music since 1999, I can’t believe the two have been around for nearly fifteen years, and they sound better than ever, I couldn’t be more excited to listen to the album in full.
