When you think about how most of Taylor Swift‘s songs are written about assholes who’ve mistreated her, it only makes sense that eventually the whole thing would come full circle and Taylor would release a song calling out people who bash her music. And from this idea comes the new music video for Taylor’s latest single, Mean, which follows the Born This Way code of “Love yourself, because eventually nerds and weirdos do awesome shit and white bread assholes just kind of stay in a state of arrested development for the rest of their lives”. And to be honest, the song is kind of nice, and I really don’t have anything against Taylor, so by all means, check out the video. It’s not half bad!
