In case you haven't heard by now, California's Proposition 8 (the bill that outlawed gay marriage in the state) is heading to the Supreme Court, which if all goes well could strike a huge blow for equal rights in the states. In case you haven't heard by now, Proposition 8 was finally declared to be unconstitutional by California's 9th US Circuit Court of Appeals, which shouldn't come as a surprise since the constitution was meant to protect the minority from the majority and not vice versa.
