Throw on your best iron fist shoes and break out those library cards, because while the world waits patiently for RuPaul’s Drag Race All-Stars, the new season of RuPaul’s Drag U is coming to LOGO! The sister show to Drag Race, Drag U features RPDR’s alumni helping biological women unleash their inner drag diva. This season, returning professors Pandora Boxx, Shannel, Manila Luzon, Jujubee, Raven, Morgan McMichaels, and Mariah join new faculty members Sharon Needles, Raja, Latrice Royale, Alexis Mateo, Chad Michaels, Willam and Delta Work to help their students draguate with honors. I’m aware that most of that didn’t make a lot of sense to those not in the know, so to put it simply: drag queens help ladies become sparkly, funny bitches.
What (or WHO did) Willam do on ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’?
A couple months back, Willam Belli became the first queen ever to be disqualified from RuPaul’s Drag Race, then the web threw a conniption trying to figure out what someone could possibly do to get kicked off a show about drag queens trying to tear each other’s eyes out. Oh, and then she released her new single on the exact same day and officially became ruler of the blogosphere. Well, cut to last night’s finale (the real one, anyway) where everyone’s favorite half-thunder Cat queen revealed that she actually got kicked off for getting banged by her husband, eating her feelings, and then having said food-feelings come shooting back out of her mouth during the main stage. Entertainment Weekly reports:
“When you go away to Drag Race, you can’t tell anyone — it’s top secret,” Willam said during the episode. “And I told my husband I was doing a non-union horror movie in Europe, which I’ve done before and they suck, so don’t watch them. And he didn’t believe me. He was like, ‘Why you gotta take all this drag?’ So I lied, and he followed me to the hotel. The first night, he walked on my door, and it was a delivery!”
Lots of fans have posed another question for Willam: Why did she barf on the runway just before being disqualified? At the reunion taping, an audience member posed the question to Willam, but the answer she gave didn’t make the cut in the episode that aired last night — probably because it wasn’t as juicy as we had all hoped. Since EW was at the Reunited taping, we can tell you her answer. It’s rather basic, really: Willam explained that she knew she was getting eliminated from the show, so during her lunch break that day, she gorged herself. If you remember, she was wearing a corset-style top that day. So it was simply biology at work: She ate too much and was squeezed into something too small to hold it — so something had to go. Willam did explain, however, that she cleaned up the mess herself.
Ummmm … seriously? That’s it? She got kicked off for screwing her husband? Honestly, that’s kind of weaksauce. If you’re going to get kicked off a reality TV show, the least you can do is make it a bit spicier. But whatever. Anyway, Willam also used the opportunity to drop her hot new single, Love You Like A Big Schlong featuring lots of hot man candy, watch the video below. Can you tell this is a gay blog yet?
Sharon Needles: The winner of ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’
In a finale that was shrouded in mystery and glitter until the last minute (you reportedly had to sign a blood oath to RuPaul that you wouldn’t leak anything, else the Valkyries would descend upon you from on high … that’s what I heard anyway). Sharon Needles took the crown last night on the season finale of RuPaul’s Drag Race. She won $100,000, a lifetime supply of Krylon makeup, a trip courtesy of Al & Chuck, a headlining gig on the Absolut tour, plus the title of America’s Next Drag Superstar. Via her Twitter:
@Sharon_Needles: this crown belongs to everyone who believed in me..we are all queens!!! there’s a new standard of beauty and talent! #HAPPYHALLOWEEN!
To be honest, I would have been happy to see Chad Michaels win it too, but not so much Phi Phi O’Hara, because … yeesh. Five G’s please.
A look back on this season of ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’

RuPaul’s ‘Glamazon’ music video
If you didn’t catch the last episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race, this contains spoilers so go to Logo and watch the last episode before you read any further. Anyway, RuPaul has released the music video for her single, Glamazon, featuring the top three contestants: Sharon Needles, Chad Michaels and (ugh) Phi Phi O’Hara. Yeah, I’m not sure why she’s still on the show either. Anyway, it also features the rest of the cast of Drag Race, as well as every guest judge from this season being slaughtered by the Glamazons, which is surprisingly dark for a RuPaul video, but whatever, it’s funny.

Get ready for … All Stars: RuPaul’s Drag Race!
I honestly wish the English language contained only the words “FUCK” and “YEAH”, because there’s really no other way to express my unrelenting joy over the news that Logo has announced All Stars: RuPaul’s Drag Race that will feature the best and brightest queens from the past four seasons competing for the title of America’s Next Drag All Star. NewNowNext reports:
The next season of RuPaul’s Drag Race looks like it may just be the best and biggest as it has just been announced that Logo will be doing an all star edition. Bring it on! All Stars: RuPaul’s Drag Race will feature a collection of the 46 ladies from the first four seasons of the show, and one will be selected by fans. To give your vote, you can head over to the Facebook page here. We of course are pulling for our personal favorite, NewNowNext Drag Race recapper Pandora Boxx. And it has to be assumed Shangela will be back for a third season, right?
Personally, I’m just hoping that we don’t have to wait a whole ten months to see this, because RuPaul’s Drag Race isn’t so much a show as it is a televised miracle made of puppies and kittens and fierceness. And by the looks of it, Pandora Boxx looks like she’ll make it onto the show based on fan votes which is fucking AWESOME because let’s face it, she kinda got the short-end of the stick in season two. And I’m also really hoping for the come back of Stacey Layne Matthews, who just had this great, understated fierceness and confidence that I absolutely adored. And of course, Shangela and Nina Flowers and Raven and OH MY GOSH THERE ARE TOO MANY TO CHOOSE FROM.

RuPaul’s Drag Race S4: The guest judges!
OMG … the new season of RuPaul’s Drag Race. It’s almost here! While I breathe into this paper bag, check out the list of guest judges on this season from Access Hollywood, which includes stars from Glee and Modern Family. Please God, let there be a cross-over somewhere in all of this …
The upcoming season four of RuPaul’s Drag Race – premiering on Logo on January 30 – will have a slew up Hollywood stars judging the fierceness of the show’s would-be drag queen stars. Logo announced on Monday that Kelly Osbourne, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Pam Anderson, Glee’s Amber Riley, Rose McGowan, Jennifer Tilly, Natalie Cole, Regina King and Wynonna Judd will be some of the show’s celebrity guest judges. But it’s not only the ladies that will be judging Ru’s girls. Jesse Tyler Ferguson, former NBA stars John Salley and Rick Fox and The Tonight Show’s Ross Mathews will also serve up their sassy takes on the ladies.
This is actually kind of an awesome list, although it’s all for naught if my favorite judge, Michelle Visage, isn’t back on the show. Also Santino Rice, because we need someone on the jury panel for Ru to make fun of whenever he comes in wearing something super weird. He’s the Andre Leon Talley of this competition! Also, some Mike Ruiz for good measure, if only because I didn’t know it was possible for someone’s jaw to be perfectly square like that. Mathematicians use his face to measure 90 degree angles.

First Look: Season 4 of ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’!
OH HELL YES! The new fourth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race is just around the corner (kicking off in January), and LOGO has finally unveiled the list of this cycle’s queens who will be competing for the title of America’s Next Drag Superstar, watch their intro videos below! And of course, they’re going have to open wide and show everyone their Charisma, Uniqueness, Nerve and Talent. Yes, they’ll have to air it out and shove it in people’s faces and really show the world just how deep it goes. It’s time to find out who’s the biggest CU – oh, crap, is that what that spells? How did I not notice that before?!
