Amnesty International apologizes to Iggy Pop over Justin Bieber torture ad

Amnesty International

Recently, Amnesty International released a series of ads against torture, which featured beaten celebrities saying the kind of stuff that goes against their entire belief system. You know, stuff like the Dalai Lama condoning materialism and Karl Lagerfeld advocating bad fashion. It's actually a pretty clever campaign to show young people what torture can entail. Anyway, one of the ads featured a bloodied and bruised Iggy Pop saying that Justin MORE

Justin Bieber apologized for his racist joke

Justin Bieber

Over the weekend, a video of Justin Bieber telling a racist joke hit the web. What makes this especially weird is that the video was taken back when Justin was 15, presumably while he was filming that awful Never Say Never movie, and at any point they could have either told Justin to shut up or otherwise destroyed the footage. But instead, Justin actively told racist jokes into a camera he knew was documenting him and they kept the footage. MORE

Madonna apologized for calling her son the n-word

Rocco Ritchie

Because Madonna desperately needed someone to remember she's not dead -- she just looks like she is -- last week she posted a picture to her Instagram account of her son Rocco Ritchie where she called him her uh ... you know. The n-word. Once again, I'm Irish-Canadian. Don't make me say it. Anyway, after everyone rightly called her out for being a 50-something white woman calling dropping the n-bomb, she gave a pseudo-pology to People magazine IF MORE

Watch Shia LaBeouf’s drunken apology

Shia LaBeouf

It's been a week or so since Shia LaBeouf rage-quit his career over everyone bashing him as a plagiarizing hack, and like all entitled douches, it didn't take him long to get himself in trouble all over again. Last night, TMZ got video of Shia headbutting a guy, because he's a badboy who doesn't play by your rules! And also he saw a video of Zinedine Zidane doing it once and presumably went "MINE!" Anyway, now Shia's apologizing for the whole MORE

David O. Russell apologizes for his slavery comment

David O. Russell and Jennifer Lawrence

Let me just start off by saying that 12 Years A Slave is an AMAZING movie. One I probably won't be watching again because it's like an atomic bomb to the soul, but still really amazing. Anyway, the one downside to the movie is that now we have a bunch of famous people comparing rich people problems to slavery. First was Madonna comparing being criticized for texting in a movie to slavery. Then Kanye West compared his work for Nike to slavery. And MORE

Jennifer Lopez: Sorry that she performed for a dictator!

Jennifer Lopez

In what I'm assuming is going to be a theme for today, Jennifer Lopez talked to Cosmo about how she came under fire for performing for a renowned dictator because apparently Cosmo is your one stop spot for news on global politics and human rights violations. (Okay, maybe not.) Anyway, Jennifer decided that the best course of action would be to address the story head on, apologize, and announce that she was giving the money to charity. HA! Just MORE

Whatever Girl: Paula Deen begs for forgiveness

Paula Deen

Celebrity chef Paula Deen has issued three apology videos today, in which she begs for forgiveness after it was revealed she regularly used the N-word along with some other racist confessions, a story that broke earlier this week via The National Enquirer. It's all too little, too late, apparently the Food Network has decided to not renew her contract with them. Not a surprising move at all considering how insincere and staged these apologies MORE

Andy Cohen is sorry for calling One Direction “twinks”

One Direction and Andy Cohen

For those of you who don't know, a "twink" is a term gay men use for skinny little boys who, while legally over the age of 18, could easily pass for a fetus. Some guys like them, and some guys ... not so much. It depends. Anyway, earlier today, Bravo's Andy Cohen talked about accidentally walking into One Direction's green room, referring to them as "twinks," and apparently this was somehow offensive enough to warrant an apology out of him. MORE

David Furnish sorta apologized to Madonna

Elton John and David Furnish

With any good feud comes the inevitable sorta-apology, wherein one or both parties backtrack on what they said, offer a compliment, but never actually go full apology. It's a system people, stick with it. Anyway, a few days after David Furnish went Facebook nuclear on Madonna over her super weird, up-her-own-ass acceptance speech at the Golden Globes, David easing up a little, saying that Madonna is a talented artist and he was just sticking up MORE

Paris Hilton made up with Kim Kardashian!

Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton

Oh joy, Paris Hilton (heretofore referred to as "Whore A") and Kim Kardashian (heretofore referred to as "Whore B") have apparently made and settled their feud. Yeah, it turns out Whore A and Whore B have been fighting for sometime, since Whore A taught Whore B how to be a whore, which turned Whore B into a huge star while Whore A couldn't even suck her way out of irrelevance. The site of the truce was music mogul Jimmy Iovine's Grammys MORE

The Glee cast apologizes to Lindsay Lohan

Gwyneth Paltrow on Glee

So apparently Lindsay Lohan ran into the cast of Glee at a restaurant and went over to say hi, and long story short they all apologized for calling her crazy, which is sadly still probably one of the nicer things anyone said about Lindsay during her druggie days. Lindsay was out at dinner in West Hollywood Sunday night when she ran into the cast (minus Jane Lynch and Lea Michele) ... and naturally, that episode -- mocking Lindsay's frequent MORE
