good morning and happy friday! you'd certainly never guess that just five and a half weeks ago supermodel heidi klum (age 36) gave birth to her fourth child (a girl named lou samuel) she hit the runway last night in NYC at the annual victoria's secret fashion show (which will air on CBS next month) looking totally fabulous - she shed the extra baby weight really fast! while were on the topic of ms. klum ... who else watched the finale of project runway last night? i won't spoil it for those of you who haven't watched it yet but i will say that the person who i thought would win - did! i absolutely loved this season of the show - i totally had a crush on seattle cutie logan neitzel who was definitely one of the cutest contestants ever! i was bummed out that the show was on lifetime instead of bravo this time around but i hardly noticed any difference - thankfully it's still one of the best reality competition shows around - i can't wait for the next season! popbytes over & out for now ... xoxo

sadly the beard hasn't gone away - although i seriously wish it would! brad pitt is still rocking that nasty beard (he just arrived in nice, france) which is also going gray - it's starting to remind me of grizzly adams! i don't mind a little facial hair (in fact i almost always have some stubble) but this is way out of control - he certainly wasn't going to nab people magazine's sexiest man of 2009 title again with that gross chin growth! besides looking awful - the beard also makes him appear older than he really is (he turns 46 next month) i'm assuming it's for a movie but if it isn't ... his partner angelina jolie better pick up a razor and shaving cream for the holidays! popbytes over & out for now ... xoxo

This week we bend the rules a little. But it's a teaching moment, about pop culture zeitgeist. In this case, we can only be talking about Lady Gaga, whose Bad Romance music video was everywhere last week. And let's face it: We would be lost without our friends posting cool-ass links and videos on our Facebook walls. Plus nowadays, pop culture moves at warp speed, and if you can imagine it, chances are it'll be viral within days. So this story goes like this: First, there was Christopher Walken's spoken-word interprolation of Poker Face from UK TV (already remixed), then Cartman's sweet Rock Band rendition on South Park. And just as I was wishing someone would make a mega money-shot collaboration of all three, Mastgrr & HatPerson got to mashin' and mixin' on not only a great track, but a seriously fetching video. And I'm gaga over it!

good evening! i'm super excited to head downtown tonight to see norwegian electronic / chillout duo röyksopp (comprised of cuties torbjørn brundtland / svein berge) play at club nokia - it's the first night of their mini US tour (they're also playing in san francisco and new york) i've been a fan ever since i discovered their song what else is there? (from the understanding) featuring the haunting vocals of swede karin dreijer andersson of the knife and fever ray (watch the video) i've also been listening to their latest album junior which has a number of great tracks including this must be it and again features vocals from ms. dreijer - the video is posted below for your viewing pleasure! i'm actually extra pumped up for tonight because i just got word swedish pop sensation robyn will be joining the boys on stage for the girl and the robot which was featured on popbytes back in march - it's such a hot track! i'm over and out for now - i will try to tweet updates from the show ... xoxo

good morning! so that's where katie holmes might take us because according to the latest cover of STAR magazine - ms. holmes turned down the deal supposedly offered to her by hubby tom cruise (you know the rumored deal to stay married which the magazine featured three weeks ago) although i don't like them as a couple - rumors about them breaking up have been going on for over two years! (check this cover from back in 2007) although i'd love to hear what katie has to say about tom's strange (scientology) ways - i doubt we ever will - if she did indeed sign a contract when she first hooked up with him - there must have been a clause stating she can't run her mouth if the two decide to split up! i'd love to see her escape from mr. cruise but let's not hold our breathe - we all know he can be pretty persuasive and he's got her under his thumb! popbytes over & out for now ... xoxo

i have zero clue as to why christina aguilera decided to sign onto this movie burlesque (a small-town girl ventures to LA and finds her place in a club run by a former dancer) girlfriend should be working on her long overdue new album - not trying to go all mariah carey on us! this film is bound to take one of two paths - either the glitter avenue - or the showgirls route! the difference between the two being - one is just plain bad ... the other one is so bad it's actually good (yes, i saw showgirls in the theaters 4x - oh my nomi malone, how i love thee!) there is one huge plus this movie has going for it ... legendary diva cher will also be starring (her last big role was in tea with mussolini back in '99) perhaps this really could be the next showgirls? but i definitely don't think this film is a good move for ms. aguilera (check her out on set below in piru - an LA suburb) unfortunately i do smell a truly disastrous career move coming down the pike! popbytes over & out for now ... xoxo

hey y'all! normally i don't like to post more than one trailer per movie but i'm making a special exception for the upcoming stage to screen adaptation of the musical NINE which i'm so super excited over - i seriously cannot wait to see it next month! john stamos gets his hollywood blvd star

good morning! i knew something was up yesterday when two people in my office told me they spotted cutie john stamos (age 46) on hollywood blvd yesterday and it turns out he was getting his star (#2,393) along the infamous 'walk of fame' - which was probably in conjunction with him starring on broadway in a revival of bye bye birdie (one of the few musicals i don't know too well) although i find him totally adorable and super sexy - it still irks and shocks me that my beloved bea arthur still doesn't have her own star - and now that she passed away - there's a five-year waiting period before the honor can be bestowed posthumously - ugh! my pal michelle collins from best week ever and i are appalled at the situation - it's simply not fair! we seriously need to figure out how this travesty of injustice can be remedied - five years is way too long to wait when it comes to a legendary star of the stage and television like ms. arthur was! popbytes over & out for now ... xoxo
