In the latest issue of Star magazine (pictured on the left below), they try to make amends with Katie Holmes via an apology over a cover from a couple of months ago (pictured on the right below) claiming she had drug addiction issues. But it’s not because the magazine simply had a change of heart, it’s because Katie sued their asses for $50 million bucks! Apparently the lawsuit has been dropped, Katie has accepted their apology plus the magazine will be making a hefty donation to Katie’s charity, the Dizzy Feet Foundation, which aims to bring dance to under privileged kids! Sounds like a good deal for Katie, thanks to a rumor she was able to raise some money for a worthy cause! If the magazine doesn’t watch itself, Lady Gaga will probably be the next one to hit them with a lawsuit, once again they’re claiming (like they did in February) that she’s in dire need of an intervention because of drinking and drugging!
In a recent issue of Star, we published headlines about Katie Holmes that could be read to suggest that she was addicted to drugs. Star did not intend to suggest that Ms. Holmes was a drug addict or was undergoing treatment for drug addiction. Star apologizes to Ms. Holmes for any misperception and will be making a substantial donation to charity on Ms. Holmes’ behalf for any harm that we may have caused.
