smile mia farrow!

good evening! oh i had an awesome day – i covered the press junket for in the valley of elah this afternoon which went great – oh my gosh charlize theron was so beautiful in person and quite tall – i’ll be writing up a post about the junket very soon! it’s so great to be able to hear the actors along w/ the director talk about a film – being a total movie buff – it’s such a neat experience and i’m so grateful to partake in things like today! plus as a bonus i finally got to meet my pal cynthia in person – who was so lovely and looked like katie holmes!

moving on tonight i’ve got pictures below of mia farrow – one of my favorite actresses – i’ve talked about rosemary’s baby on here before – if you haven’t seen it – please do!!! ms. farrow is simply stunning and delivers an incredible performance – one of my top films of all time! plus she’s done great work in a number of woody allen films (i love husbands & wives & alice) but we all know things didn’t end so well between her and mr. allen…she was recently in NYC talking about a very serious topic – darfur (hence the lack of smiles – although i did manage to find one picture of her smiling!) specifically she was at press conference hosted by american jewish world service for olympic dream for darfur which aims to protect civilians on the ground in darfur – a noble & very worthy cause – and it’s great ms. farrow lent her time & legendary name! oh my word – i’m totally beat – thank heavens i have one more day off! popbytes over & out for tonight…xxoo!
