Lots of people start a new year off with high hopes of getting back to the gym — or getting into the gym for the first time. This is where people absolutely kill it for a few weeks before the frantic pace of their approach quickly burns them out and they stop working out by mid-February. True story! There’s no need to go at for hours at a time, seven days a week like a maniac. It’s better to work out at a higher intensity for a shorter amount of time, because science. Your body can only handle so much before fatigue. Hit it hard for about 30-40 minutes. Done.
