Shia LaBeouf plagiarized some more stuff, may be getting sued

Shia LaBeouf

Ever since it was discovered that Shia LaBeouf plagiarized his short film almost entirely from an indie comic, the idea has been floating around that Shia is trolling everyone by plagiarizing absolutely everything. Seriously, apologies, movies, comics … his entire creative process is ctrl+c, ctrl+v. Well, not only is Shia probably getting sued, but he’s still apologizing by plagiarizing yet again. It doesn’t sound like Shia has made any money off HowardCantour.com, so I’m not sure what could suing him would accomplish. It seems like LaBeouf made it mostly for the prestige and respect, which, obviously, has backfired spectacularly. Meanwhile, the court of public opinion seems to have already tried this case in a much more decisive way than the legal system ever could. It’s a bit sad. I don’t know what Shia LaBeouf was thinking when he wrote those laws.

They go on to point out that Shia also stole more apologies from Shepard Fairey, Mark Zuckerberg and Kanye West, and at this point I think it’s pretty clear that he knows how blatantly obvious it is and is doing it to make some sort of message. Trolling or not, Shia still stole from someone else and tried to pass it off as his own work. He can scream ARTIST! all he wants, but he’s still just the little asshole from Even Stevens.
