Sarah Palin is blaming the media again!

Hey, remember a little while back when Sarah Palin‘s daughter, Willow, got onto a fight on Facebook and called a couple of kids “faggot” because they said her show sucked (which it totally did)? Well, apparently it’s all the media’s fault for blowing it out of proportion (which they did) and for ignoring the fact that the kids made fun of Willow’s mentally challenged brother, Trig (which they didn’t).

I mean, look at the other day. Willow, finally, my 16 year old, she had had it up to here with somebody saying very, very hateful things about the family and saying mean things about her little brother Trig, and Willow finally responded and she used a bad word when she responded in defense of her family. And her response became national news, even hard news copy it turned into, so that’s ridiculous and I had to explain to her, “Willow, there is no justice here but you have to just zip your lip and let’s move forward.” SOURCE

I touched on this briefly last time, but it bears repeating: Yes, what Willow said was wrong, but she’s a teen. And I can respect that Sarah is defending her kids. What I can’t respect here is that Sarah has no problem defending her daughter’s use of the F-Bomb by lying about someone attacking a baby with down’s syndrome. What the hell? You can’t just say whatever you want then write it off as persecution when people point out why it’s wrong anymore than you can break all the windows in your house then complain when it starts raining.
