Sacha Baron Cohen beats out Jonah Hill!

Sacha Baron Cohen

In a stellar cast that already comprises of Leonardo DiCaprio, Christoph Waltz, Kurt Russell, Samuel L. Jackson, and Jamie Foxx things couldn’t get better, right? Wrong. Though Jonah Hill was the front-runner in director Quentin Tarantino’s latest spaghetti western adventure Django Unchained, Sacha Baron Cohen is the set in stone contender, as of now. The film will follow Waltz as he plays a German dentist who turns bounty hunter, as if things couldn’t get more complicated … Waltz buys Django (played by Foxx) to help him with one of his bounties and wham, bam, thank-you-ma’am – along the way the two develop a friendship. They become close enough to where Waltz in turn helps Django find his wife who is a slave imprisoned on DiCaprio’s plantation. Cohen’s part comes into play right when the action is getting to the culmination, he buys Django’s wife off the plantation, and a chase ensues. Cohen is also slated to play both Saddam Hussein and Freddie Mercury in upcoming biopics.
