good morning boys & girls! since today is the last day my folks are in town i took the day off and was able to sleep in a bit today! anyways i can’t believe that baz luhrmann‘s film romeo + juliet which starred leonardo dicaprio & claire danes as the infamous star-crossed lovers is hitting the ten year mark (the film was first released back in november of ’96)
of course one of the best things about the film was the musically delicious soundtrack and to mark the ten year anniversary the soundtrack is being re-released with four bonus tracks including an updated version of everybody’s free (to wear sunscreen) which you can listen to below along with songs from the cardigans & radiohead! so although technically this is my ‘monday .mp3′ column – i thought these streams were a fun thing to feature (even though it’s making me feel a drop older!) popbytes over & out for now…xxoo!
