RIP: Hannah Montana

Miley Cyrus / Saturday Night Live

Miley Cyrus / Saturday Night Live

Just in case you’re curious what Hannah Montana is up to these days, Miley Cyrus gave us the very tragic update last night during her Saturday Night Live opening monologue … she’s been murdered! With that one statement, Miley drove a stake through little girls’ hearts everywhere. We certainly won’t be seeing any Disney specials featuring Miss Montana, may she rest in peace.

Miley is totally plowing full steam ahead (tongue out and clothes off) with her sexy, new ‘in your face’ image and album, Bangerz (iTunes), due out this coming Tuesday, October 8th. I was never really a fan of Miley until recently, she definitely might be overdoing things a bit, but overall I think she’s doing everything right. Plus the album (her 4th studio release) is solid, definitely one of this year’s best pop releases. Don’t miss out on her SNL musical performances, posted below in case you missed ’em.

“Wrecking Ball”

“We Can’t Stop” (Acoustic)

PS The best part of SNL last night? The “We Did Stop” parody about the government shutdown!
