god bless legendary funny man (and oscar winner for 57′s sayonara) red buttons who passed away today at the ripe age of 87 from vascular disease – he was surrounded by family when he passed on at his century city LA home – so it looks like he will be making the big journey to the other side with june allyson and syd barrett – that’s an interesting trio for you! i was so lucky a few years back (1995) in NYC to catch his show buttons on broadway and gosh what a talent he was – such a clown! we will miss you mr. buttons…popbytes over & out – xxoo!
