Protesters at Kim Kardashian’s event were tear gassed?

Remember how Kim Kardashian said that she would use her trip to Bahrain to educate herself on the Middle East? HAHA! Oh that kidder. No, all she did was drink a milkshake from Millions of Milkshakes. Watch your back, George Clooney, there’s a new globally conscious celebrity on the scene! Anyway, turns out not everyone was thrilled with the fact that an opportunistic, lying, do-nothing famewhore was visiting their country, and a protest broke out against Kim. One thing lead to another, and now a local paper is claiming that law enforcement used tear-gas to disperse the crowd, which sounds pretty par for the course for any Kardashian event. From CNN

Kim Kardashian, 32, stopped in Bahrain Saturday as part of a Middle Eastern promotional tour for Millions of Milkshakes, a franchise created and owned by businessman Sheeraz Hasan. “WHAT PROTESTS?? Kim Kardashian loved by the people of Bahrain & wants to return!!” Hasan said in a Twitter posting Sunday. CNN has been unable to independently confirm the reports, all of which are ultimately attributed to an unidentified “local newspaper,” that police used tear-gas grenades to disperse 100 Shiite Muslim protesters with anti-Kardashian signs before her arrival at a high-end shopping complex in Riffa, Bahrain.

Sure, we could ask why they would ever bring Kim out to Bahrain to begin with, or why there were so many people there fawning over her, but I think the real question is: Why is Kim Kardashian? Why is she? Just, why? There is absolutely no reason why a person like this should exist. In a logical, just world, lightning would have struck Kim down years ago in order to rectify God’s final mistake.
